Event Reminders are empty

I get E-Mails with "event reminder" im Betreff and the content is just the date and the hour and nothing more... so it's reminding me of something but i cant find out what it is :)

I can't reproduce this, on my Icedove/Thunderbird 38.4 client it exhibits properly (except for an issue with the organizer and attendees). I can also see and import the ics event to my calendar.

I don't believe this feature is supported or compatible with all mail clients, so please tell which version you are using.

Ok, the reminders, not the notifications :)

I disabled the automatic reminders for now, as they still need to be properly setup (particularly the message type).
